1.13.21  CSA General Meeting Minutes

• Dr Padberg Updates: (unable to attend due to a meeting conflict)
  • Passport project was exciting for students to learn about different countries
  • District Meeting January 20^th to determine construction company building new gymnasium. Hoping to break ground in March
  • LEF grant awarded to kindergarten and 1^st Each K class will receive tubano drums and each 1^st grade class will receive two osmos.
• President Updates:
  • CSA provided $25 Amazon GC to all teachers as a gift for the holidays in addition to a $50 GC to be used for any classroom needs. Teachers were very appreciative.
  • Valentine’s Day classroom parties planning is in the works.
  • Harrison- Parents have reached out wanting to help Mr. Harrison in this difficult time.  CSA is collecting donations and will also be providing flowers and a meal for him.
  • Girls on the run will be led by Maggie Gruninger for 3^rd and 4^th grade girls from March 7-May 14^th.
• Maru: asked for feedback on Amazon gift cards for teachers.
• Hillary: Classes voted on how they wanted walk a thon funds to be used. Blue blocks, Gaga ball pit and Funnel ball have been purchased and are in the works for delivery in a few weeks.
• Mckenzie Mintzer: Our new teacher liaison on the CSA. She will relay all info discussed to teachers and act as a sounding board for new ideas and initiatives.
• Amazon wish list is ongoing for the whole school year.
• Alison: discussed 4^th Grade memory books and need for pictures from the teachers as we have not had any field trips in the last two years.  Picture submission deadline will be end of Feb. google drive folder available.
• FGC center tour for 4^th graders?
• Fourth grade party, Jeff City field trips & end of year celebration: We are hopeful omicron will be short lived and we will be able to move forward with these activities.
